Shillong, Aug 14: A four-year contract has been signed between the Meghalaya Programme for Outdoor Work Experience, Research and Education (MPOWER) and Global AgriSystem to strengthen monitoring and evaluation across the project.
Under the contract signed on Friday, Global AgriSystem will conduct baseline, quarterly, midline and endline assessments to track implementation, measure results, and identify challenges early.
A key focus will be on adolescent outcomes including education, school retention, life skills, health, empowerment, and transition to higher education and employment.
The firm will also upgrade MPOWER’s digital monitoring and MIS systems to ensure timely data collection and evidence-based reporting.
Field engagements with students, schools, communities, youth centres, frontline workers and government departments will be carried out to capture beneficiary feedback and ground realities.
Vijay Kumar Mantri, Co-Project Director of MPOWER and Commissioner & Secretary, Education Department; Dr Ravendra Singh, Senior Adviser, ISS (Retd.) from Global AgriSystem; and Wankit Kupar, Deputy Project Director, MPOWER were present during the contract signing ceremony.
