Shillong, Sept 30: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to visit Shillong on October 4-5 for the ceremony to confer the President’s Colour on Meghalaya Police at JN Stadium, Polo.
In view of the high-profile visit and presence of several VIPs and dignitaries, the East Khasi Hills district administration has imposed restrictions on droneflying around the venue.
District Magistrate Abhilash Baranwal in an order issued under Section 163 of the BNSS on September 29, declared a No-Drone Zone within a 3 km radius of JN Stadium from October 2 to October 5.
