Mumbai, Oct 29: Actor Ahan Shetty is set to begin shooting for his next film, action drama “Sanki”, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai of “Rustom” and “Mission Raniganj” fame.
Written by Gyanendra Vasudev, “Sanki” is a love story at heart, blending emotions with raw and explosive action.
Shetty will commence shooting for the project in Bhopal on Friday, the makers said in a press release.
Desai is currently in Bhopal with the crew, completing preparations ahead of the shoot.
The makers have kept the film’s subject and storyline under wraps.
“Sanki” is produced by We The People, Roaring River Productions and Pals & Peers Entertainment. The film is scheduled to release in theatres in the first half of 2027.
Shetty, son of actor Suniel Shetty, made his acting debut with the romantic action film “Tadap” in 2021, opposite Tara Sutaria.
He was most recently seen in the war drama “Border 2”, in which he played Lieutenant Commander Mahendra Singh Rawat alongside Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh.
Besides “Sanki”, Shetty will also feature in Vikram Bhatt’s “1920 Cold Winter” and a few other projects scheduled to go on floors in 2027. (PTI)
