APSC completed the examination process within a record time of eight months, starting from the preliminary exam in March 2024.

Over 67,251 candidates applied for this year’s examination, reflecting growing trust in APSC’s transparent and timely processes.

For the first time, posts were reserved for the Moran and Motak communities.

A total of 235 candidates were recommended for appointment in various services – 45 for Assam Civil Service (ACS), 35 for Assam Police Service (APS), 107 for Assam Accounts Service and other posts including Inspecting Auditor, Superintendent of Taxes, Block Development Officer, and more.
