BJP steps up preparations for GHADC polls

Shillong, Oct 6: The BJP said it has already started working on the ground to strengthen its organisation in Garo Hills ahead of the upcoming Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) elections.

“We have started to strengthen the party. We will look into it. We will keep on working,” state president Rikman G. Momin said on Tuesday.

On candidate selection, Momin said, “We will look into it again. Let us see where to put good candidates; we will see to it.”

The current GHADC’s term has been extended till October 18.
