CM Conrad interacts with citizens at public durbar

Shillong, May 13: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Wednesday held a public durbar where he interacted with people from different sections of the society and noted their grievances and issues.

The citizens raised issues related to a wide range of matters, including public welfare, community development, infrastructure, livelihood, education, healthcare, and other local concerns.

The gathering included private individuals, community representatives, and delegations from various parts of the state, who had an opportunity to directly share their needs and suggestions with the Chief Minister at his office chamber.

Assuring the gathering about the government commitment to address concerns of citizens in a timely and effective manner, the Chief Minister also directed officials to examine the matters brought forward and take necessary follow-up action wherever required.

“The public durbar served as an important platform for direct engagement between the government and the people, reflecting the administration’s continued focus on accessibility, transparency, and citizen-centric governance,” according to an official release.
