FG Kharshiing takes over as mission director for drug reduction policy

Shillong, Oct 31: Retired IPS officer FG Kharshiing has been appointed as the Mission Director of the Drug Reduction Elimination & Action Mission (DREAM) for an initial period of 3 years or until further orders.


Principal Secretary in-charge Health Sampath Kumar on Thursday said Kharshiing will be provided with remuneration equal to last pay drawn minus pension and other allowances as admissible with effect from the date of taking over charge.
