GHADC to clear pending five months’ salary

Tura, Sep 2: In a big relief for employees of Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC), the Council’s executive committee (EC) has announced release of pending salary for five months and ensured regular payment of salary starting November 1, 2025.

The GHADC is also committed to clearing the remaining backlog of salaries at the earliest possible, stated a notification issued by the eC on September 1.

In its directive to the Non-Gazetted Employees’ Association (NGEA) of GHADC, the EC also urged employees to consider the development positively and resume their duties immediately.
