
New Delhi, July 8: Air Chief Marshal A P Singh and Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi on Tuesday interacted with senior military officers on the conduct of joint operations as they reaffirmed their resolve towards boosting tri-service synergy.

Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi was also present during the interactions held at South Block here.
In a post on X, the Army said the address also laid emphasis on integrated maritime and air warfare in future battle scenarios.
“Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, CNS and Air Chief Marshal A P Singh, CAS addressed senior military officers on conduct of joint operations, while reaffirming their resolve towards Tri-Service synergy,” it said.

The Army also shared some photos of the interactions on social media.
Various army commanders and many senior military officials were also present on the occasion.
“The address focused on joint operational planning, with emphasis on integrated maritime and air warfare in future battle scenarios,” the Army said in its X post.

The interactions took place two months after India conducted precision strikes on several terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir early on May 7 under Operation Sindoor in retaliation to the Pahalgam attack.
The decisive military action by India had also demonstrated the greater tri-service synergy the armed forces are endeavouring to achieve. (PTI)
