Shillong, Oct 9: The list of seven Executive Members (EMs) of the newly formed Executive Committee (EC) of Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) has been approved by Governor CH Vijayashankar.
The VPP-led EC comprises Executive Members (EMs) – Powell Sohkhlet, Seiborlang Warbah, Aibandaplin F Lyngdoh Nonglait, Deity H Majaw, Isynei Hinge, Pynkhrawboklin Kharjahrin and Denzil Raynard Chen.
The EMs were appointed by the newly elected KHADC chief executive member (CEM) Winston Tony Lyngdoh, who took charge of office on September 30.
According to EM Powell Sohkhlet, the list was approved by the Governor on Wednesday.
“The CEM is likely to distribute the portfolios to the EMs tomorrow,” he said.
