Shillong, Sept 9: The Meghalaya government has declared a local holiday on September 18 in East Khasi Hills district to mark Unitarian Anniversary Day.
According to an order issued by the General Administration (A) Department, all state government offices, revenue and magisterial courts, and educational institutions in East Khasi Hills will remain closed on that day.
The order stated that the closure will not apply to Central Government offices.
