Mamata to campaign in Gambegre bypoll

Shillong, Oct 24: TMC chief Mamata Banerjee will campaign for the party candidate Sadhiarani M Sangma for Gambegre bye-election slated for November 13.

Banerjee is among a list of 36 star campaigners the party has submitted to the Election Commission.

The others include Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee, state in-charge Dr Manas Ranjan Bhunia, state president Charles Pyngrope, leader of opposition Mukul Sangma, and state vice-president Zenith M Sangma among others.
