Tura, May 5: This year, the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has announced the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) results for Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational streams much earlier than in previous years—a feat credited to the newly introduced “digital mark entry system” by the Board.

“With IT revolution happening, influencing our daily lives, MBOSE has capitalised on this and introduced digital mark entry. This step has enhanced the pace of processing results significantly, and enabled us to declare the results of the streams at one go,” stated MBOSE Executive Chairman C P Marak.

Last year, MBOSE declared the HSSLC results for Science, Commerce and Vocational streams on May 8th, while the Arts stream results were declared on May 24th together with the Class X SSLC results.

The MBOSE Executive Chairman added that the Board plans to integrate more IT solutions for future examinations, thereby further improving the functioning of the Board.
