Meghalaya Pavilion at IITF conferred Silver Medal

Shillong, Nov 28: The Meghalaya Pavilion at 43rd India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2024 was conferred Silver Medal for excellence in display during the award presentation ceremony at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on Wednesday. 

The award was received by WG Momin, director of Meghalaya Pavilion on behalf of Directorate of Information and Public Relations, Meghalaya, in the presence of SL Mawlong, PRO, DIPR; BF Sunn, functional manager, Nongstoin and AD Shira, functional manager, Ampati, Commerce and Industries Department. 

The IITF was organised by organised by the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) from 14 to 27 November on the theme Viksit Bharat @2047. 

Tourism, Commerce and Industries, Meghalayan Age Limited, and DIPR were among departments besides eight units sponsored by Directorate of Commerce and Industries drawn from various parts of the state participated in the fair displaying and promoting the indigenous products.
