Motivational speaker Munawar Zama on visit to Meghalaya

Shillong, Dec 16: Renowned motivational speaker Munawar Zama, who is on a visit to Meghalaya, has underlined the critical role of education in nation building and social cohesion.

“The critical role of education, moral strength, character development, career planning and right guidance for young people is paramount,” Zama said during an interaction at Bhaitbari Higher Secondary School, Rajabala in West Garo Hills district.

On Tuesday, he will address an Islamic conference at Jamiul Uloom Rahmania Madrassa, Chibinang in the district.

Zama, known for his advocacy for education-led development, was earlier received by Meghalaya MLA Dr Mizanur Rahman Kazi at Guwahati Airport.

According to a press release, Zama announced his plans to return to the region on January 27 next year to deliver motivational sessions for different communities, reaffirming his commitment to youth empowerment and educational awareness.
