Government vehicles, bike set ablaze by miscreants
Shillong, Aug 21: Tension continued to grip Meghalaya with reports of incidents of violence pouring in from across Khasi-Jaintia Hills region.
Two government vehicles parked at secured locations were torched by miscreants in Nongstoin in West Khasi Hills on Friday.

The vehicles include a Gypsy (ML 01 6963) and a Bolero (ML 01 4130).
Earlier in the day, a bike was torched at Malki in Shillong while a government vehicle was set ablaze in West Jaintia Hills.
Police said a cases are being registered and investigation is on to nab those involved in the incidents.
During Wednesday’s KSU black-flag rally, over 30 vehicles including cars from Assam were vandalised and two vehicles torched in different parts of the city.
