Will resign if party wants, says Shakliar Warjri

Shillong, Sep 1: Amid speculations over a cabinet reshuffle, minister and HSPDP MLA Shakliar Warjri has said he would not hesitate to resign if his party decides him to do.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, he made it clear that the call on his position in the government entirely rests on his party.

Admitting that discussions within HSPDP are under way in this regard, he however refused to disclose further.

“It is party’s internal matter… if my party decides, I have to step down…,” he said.

“We are still having talks and whatever the outcome will be, I will be happy to agree to my party’s decision,” he added.
