Tynsong discharged from hospital

Shillong, Sept 19: Deputy chief minister Prestone Tynsong, who underwent an operation at Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday.

“The treatment was smooth and successful and he is now in good health and has started eating and walking by himself. After few days he will come back to Shillong,” said NPP spokesperson Himalaya Shangpliang.

Currently, he is recuperating in Meghalaya House, New Delhi.

Meanwhile, Shangpliang expressed appreciation to all those who had prayed for Tynsong’s fast recovery and visited him during his treatment in Shillong and New Delhi.

“The deputy CM will continue to serve the people and the party has extended its full support to him,” he said.
