15th Finance Commission: KHADC received Rs 12 cr as untied grant: EM

Shillong, Mar 28: The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) has so far received Rs 12.15 crore of Rs 24.30 crore earmarked under Untied grant of 15th Finance Commission for FY 2021-22.

Informing this in his reply to a question during the KHADC budget session on Friday, executive member (EM) in-charge IT, Land & Development Powell Sohkhlet said, “The amount for the Untied grant was released on December 11, 2024.”

Under the Tied grant, Sohkhlet said, Rs 18.23 crore of Rs 36.45 crore earmarked was released on December 9, 2022.

In 2020-21, Rs 40.95 crore was released under Untied grant in two instalments on December 10, 2020 and March 10, 2022 and Rs 40.95 crore was also released under Tied grant in two installments on July 9, 2021 and May 16, 2022.
