Inter Mahari Football 2025: Dio crush Nokrek, Bangbol outplay Wa•tre 

Tura, August 21: The Inter Mahari Football Tournament in Chandmary, Tura, produced two thrilling contests on Wednesday at the Govt. Boys’ Hr. Sec. School Field, with Dio mahari and Bangbol mahari securing emphatic wins.

In the first match, Dio mahari dismantled Nokrek mahari with a commanding 5-0 victory. The star of the game was Cheambi Dio Sangma, who netted all five goals for her team — striking in the 21st, 25th, 38th, 43rd, and 48th minutes. With her sensational five-goal haul, Cheambi sealed Dio mahari’s dominant performance. The match was played in two 25-minute halves and ended clean with no cards issued.

In the men’s clash, Bangbol mahari registered a strong 3-1 win over Wa•tre mahari. After a goalless first half, Adil Samuel B Sangma opened the scoring in the 31st minute. Teammates Michael Jack Ch Marak and Kadil Noah B Sangma extended the lead with goals in the 50th and 53rd minutes. Wa•tre’s Ritchie N Marak struck back in the 56th minute, but it wasn’t enough to spark a comeback. This match also saw no cards being issued.

The tournament continues on Thursday, August 21, with two men’s fixtures: Danggo mahari vs. Mangsang mahari at 2:00 PM, followed by Sintang mahari vs. Rema mahari at 3:30 PM, both at the same venue. Exciting football action is expected as the battle for the championship title heats up.
