Kickboxers’ team leaves for Indore

Shillong, June 15: Seven kickboxers from Meghalaya, including four girls, on Sunday left for taking part in the Sub Junior National Kickboxing Championship to be held at Indore in Madhya Pradesh from 17 to 21 June.

Informing this, the Meghalaya State Kickboxing Association expressed its gratitude to Principal of St Francis De Sales Secondary School, Laitkor for allowing the 8-to-14-year-old athletes of the school in the championship.

The contingent comprises Dajied Kyrpang Synjri, Miss Zyarra Kharkongor and Bashanpaia Kharkongor, Miss Heilina Sad, Miss Abigail Ridamaka L Pyngrope and Ribhadaker Bina.

The team was led by international coach Daniella I W Mylliemngap and while international kickboxer Babit Kharsahnoh and Miss Felicia K Synjri Daniella I W Mylliemngap put in their efforts in coaching the team as well, according to a press release.
