Shillong, Mar 28: The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) on Friday re-constituted the Select Committee to examine the KHAD (Khasi Inheritance of Property) Bill, 2021.
The term of the Select Committee, now to be headed by Council chief Shemborlang Rynjah, was earlier expired without submitting the report.
Earlier, the committee was reconstituted on July 3, 2023 with Pyniaid Sing Syiem, the then chief executive member (CEM) as the chairman.
