Dhar contributes 50 laptops to Kiang Nangbah College

Shillong, Nov 5: Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar has personally contributed 50 laptops for educational purpose to Kiang Nangbah Government College at Jowai.

The laptops were purchased at the cost of Rs 15 lakh from the salary of the Deputy Chief Minister.

“This small gesture is a token of my deep commitment towards empowering our youth with tools that enhance their learning experience and prepare them for a brighter future. Education is the foundation of progress, and investing in our students is investing in the future of our State,” Dhar said while speaking at a function held at the college on Thursday.

“I firmly believe that access to technology and digital learning opportunities will help our young minds bridge knowledge gaps and compete with the best across the nation,” he added.
