Guv meets kin of rape survivors

Shillong, Sept 22: Meghalaya Governor CH Vijayashankar on Saturday met with the families of two rape survivors from South West Garo Hills at the Raj Bhavan.

During this meeting, the governor extended support to the survivors by providing them with financial assistance of ₹50,000/- each to help them during this challenging time.

Governor Vijayashankar has emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting victims of violence to get justice and ensuring their dignity and rights.
