Justice Mukherji sworn in as Chief Justice of Meghalaya HC

Shillong, Oct 4:Justice Indra Prasanna Mukherji was sworn in as the 13th Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court, on Thursday.

The oath of office and secrecy to Justice Mukherji was administered by Governor CH Vijayashankar. The swearing-in ceremony held at Raj Bhavan was attended by dignitaries, government officials, and esteemed members of the judiciary.

Justice Mukherji brings with him vast judicial experience and a distinguished record of service. His elevation to this prestigious position is expected to contribute significantly to the judicial system of Meghalaya.

After the ceremony, an interaction session between the governor, the chief justice, and other dignitaries present took place followed by the high tea.
