Shillong, July 27: A man who went missing about two weeks ago was found dead in Mylliem on Monday, police confirmed.
East Khasi Hills SP Vivek Syiem said the body of M Kurkalang was recovered from 12 Mer with assistance from the SRT.
“We have registered a UD case. He had gone out for work and did not return,” Syiem said.
The SP said the family does not suspect any foul play in the death and have asked for post-mortem exemption.
