Police to file second charge sheet in Raghuvanshi murder case by Nov end: SP

Shillong, Nov 11: East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police Vivek Syiem on Monday said the second charge sheet in the murder case of Indore businessman (L) Raja Raghuvanshi is being prepared and is expected to be submitted by the third week of November, pending the forensic report from CFSL, Hyderabad.

“Once we get the forensic report from CFSL, Hyderabad we will actually be able to submit our second chargesheet. We are supposed to submit it by the first week of December, but we should be done by the third week of November,” Syiem told reporters.

“We have built a tight case and SIT has given a very robust chargesheet,” he said.

He said that the bail decision rests with the court adding that the police have gathered adequate grounds to support their charges.

The accused, including Raghuvanshi’s wife Sonam Raghuvanshi and four others, are currently in custody. The police are awaiting the forensic report to finalize the charge sheet.
