Retd Col Daryl Hopkins to lead Sainik Welfare Meghalaya

Shillong, Jan 31: The state Cabinet on Thursday approved the appointment of retired Col Daryl Hopkins as Director of Sainik Welfare Meghalaya.

Informing this after the meeting, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said the selection committee headed by the Chief Secretary DP Wahlang had recommended the name of Hopkins for the appointment of the four applications.

According to him, Hopkins was the senior most from the shortlisted names.
