Shillong, Oct 24: The Voice of People Party Lok Sabha MP from Shillong Ricky AJ Syngkon has met social welfare minister Paul Lyngdoh to discuss issues related to the department in the constituency.
“The local MP had wanted us to coordinate and work together in various sectors
especially…high level of drug addiction and drug trafficking and also a large number of single parent families.
He had made a few valuable suggestions,” said Lyngdoh after the meeting.
Terming the meeting as “fruitfull”, the minister said, “We look forward to working together on a few core sectors that affect the interest of Meghalaya.”
