Shillong, April 29: The state government has empanelled a team to study concerns raised by 108 emergency services workers demanding for government takeover.
Informing this on Wednesday, Health Minister Wailadmiki Shylla said, “108 staff have their own sets of concerns and the government also has its own limitation.”
A delegation of the 108 emergency services workers met the minister to pursue their demands.
According to the minister, both sides have constraints.
“We have empanelled one team to do some kind of a study on how we can accommodate them, how we can look after their concerns,” the minister said.
The minister said the matter will actively taken up after return of the NHM Mission Director from election duty after May 5.
