NEET (UG) candidates urged to start early for exam

Shillong, June 19: East Khasi Hills administration has urged the NEET (UG) Re-Exam aspirants allotted to PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya in Upper Shillong to plan for an early start on June 21.

The administration has cautioned that road movement to the area may be slowed due to security arrangements for a Union Minister’s visit scheduled the same day.

‘VVIP visit to the Kendriya Vidyalaya, EAC Headquarters, will require traffic regulation on certain stretches leading to Upper Shillong. This could lead to congestion and delays around the exam hours,” East Khasi Hills deputy commissioner said in a statement.

To prevent students from missing their reporting time, the administration urged all candidates assigned to the Upper Shillong centre to leave home with ample buffer time and carry all mandatory documents for entry.

“All necessary measures are being taken to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination,” the DC stated, while seeking cooperation from residents and commuters.
