Eight killed in lightning strikes across Jharkhand

Ranchi, Jun 19: At least eight people, including two women and a two-year-old boy, died in lightning strikes across Jharkhand, police said on Friday.

Of the eight people, three were killed in Hazaribag district, while the remaining deaths were reported from Palamu, Lohardaga, Ramgarh, West Singhbhum and Godda districts.

“At least eight people were killed in lightning strikes across six districts of the state in the last 24 hours,” a police official said. (PTI)
