Hearing on HNLC’s petition

Shillong, Mar 22: The petition of Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) challenging the Centre’s decision to extend the ban on it for five years will be taken up for hearing by the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) Tribunal in Guwahati on April 9.

The date was fixed by the UAPA Tribunal in its hearing on Saturday, according to HNLC’s legal counsel Fernando Shangpliang.

On that day, the government witnesses will be cross-examined by the HNLC counsel.
