Mumbai, Sep 23: Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi’s state executive member Sujat Ambedkar on Wednesday led a ‘Justice for Sahil’ protest at IIT Bombay, blaming the IIT administration for B Tech student Sahil Wakode’s death.
Sahil was found hanging in his hostel room on the evening of September 18, hours after being caught while allegedly using a mobile phone to access ChatGPT during a mid-semester examination.
“This is nothing but institutional murder,” Ambedkar said, addressing the protesters.
The protest was organised by Samyak Vidyarthi Andolan initiated by Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi to secure justice for student Sahil. (PTI)
